This past weekend, the sports world watched as the San Francisco 49ers defeated the New Orleans Saints in a historic finish, while a memorable turf war between the Lakers and Clippers broke out in Los Angeles. PUC’s Bowen Brings Speed, Heart to Campus

By: Colleen Uechi   Quick Bio Full name: Kristen Carolina Bowen Year: Junior Major: Nursing Hometown: Yucaipa, CA Sport: Cross Country   The first time recent PUC graduate Bruce Bolt encountered Kristen Bowen, all he really saw was the wake she left in the PUC pool.      “Usually when I go [to] swim, nobody goes faster than me,” Bolt says. “I usually try to keep up. And then [one day] I see somebody just walk into the water…get in, then zoom! Gone! I’m trying to swim as fast as I can, trying to keep up with her. And she goes just too fast….
